The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is an American non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the First Amendment rights of the comics art form and its community of retailers, creators, publishers, librarians, and readers. The CBLDF provides legal referrals, representation, advice, assistance, and education in furtherance of these goals.

They also create some interesting products that they sell to raise funds for their efforts. One of which is their Liberty Comics Annuals that you may have noticed on our comic shelves over the years. Some new items from the CBLDF just arrived in Halifax: a cool patch and some pins!
