Join us for a book signing event with cartoonist Bryan Lee O’Malley for a 20th anniversary celebration of Scott Pilgrim. Bryan will be taking pictures, signing books and personalizing them with attendees’ names.

This event is TICKET ONLY. All tickets are free and can be picked up in person at Strange Adventures in Halifax. We’ll be handing out roughly 40 tickets daily while supplies last, starting on Wednesday, Sept. 11th.

Bryan Lee O’Malley is a Canadian cartoonist. His award-winning Scott Pilgrim series (2004-2010) was a New York Times best-seller and the basis for the 2010 Universal film Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. In 2023, he co-wrote and co-produced the Netflix animated series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. His books, including Lost at Sea, Seconds, and Snotgirl, have been translated into over twenty languages. He lives in Los Angeles

Where will the signing line take place?
It will take place at our 5110 Prince Street in downtown Halifax.
Is there a limit on how many items Bryan can sign?
Yes, we are capping the signing line with two signatures per customer.
What can be signed?
Bryan is game to sign anything so long as it’s something he made or was something authorized to be produced based on something he made. Bryan is also generally good to sign “homemade” items as part of any cosplay

Will I be able to take a photograph with Bryan?
Yes, Bryan is more than happy to take photographs with fans. All photos will be posed and no photos can be taken behind the desk.
Does my child need to a ticket?
Yes, it’s one ticket per person.
Is there a place to store my backpack, suitcase, personal items, etc. during the signing line?
Please leave large bags at home. There isn’t anywhere to store them while you’re in line or while you’re meeting Bryan.
